Reading and searching the messages in fidonet bases

MailNavigator is a powerful system for retrieving information in the archives of the majority of popular mail programs. Since the version 0.14 it was added the capability of reading messages in the majority of popular formats of the Fidonet network (MSG, Squish, Jam, Hudson).

The message search system enables to search information in the mail archives of the following popular programs:

Windows Live Mail
Windows Mail (Vista OS)
MS Outlook
Outlook Express
Mozilla Thunderbird
Opera Mail
The Bat
MS Mail
MS News
Netscape Messenger
Netscape Collabra
Eudora
Forte Agent

also in all popular bases of the Fidonet informations network.

If you simply want to extract the messages from archives of Fidonet, load it from the program MailNavigator, and then fulfil export of the messages in ASCII format or in the format RFC-822. For this purpose it is necessary to use the menu command: Message | Save as...

However using the system of search of the messages which is included in the MailNavigator is much more effective. The description language of the filters includes the standard operators: OR, AND, NOT, NEAR, their synonyms, and parentheses for defining the order of operators. The search can be executed on the whole word or on a part of a word. In this program it is possible to use filters on the message content, and on some fields of the message header. And it is unimportant in what format is the message which one you want to find. The system of search will find them in mail archives of any program.
